Grier Interiors is a family-owned business based out of Charlotte, North Carolina’s historic South End. Originally founded by Eddie Grier and Tom Gregory as Gregory Grier, Inc. We have served customers on a national scale since 1997. After Mr. Gregory’s retirement in 2003, Eddie acquired other local dealers and talent, and expanded the customer base from 350 to 1,500 customers throughout the Carolinas.

In 2015, we became Grier Interiors when Chad Grier joined the team, bringing 25 years of sales and management experience with him. Together, Chad and Eddie developed an aggressive growth strategy to further lend our expertise to potential customers in the Carolinas and beyond.

Our success is the result of establishing valuable, mutually beneficial long-term business relationships with our customers. Grier Interiors is dedicated to being a partner to our customers and being a team of talented people who can be depended on both now and in the future.

The Origin of the G7 Logo

When Eddie Grier opened the doors to his new office furniture dealership in 1997, his oldest brother, Ben Grier, was battling cancer and passed away that same year.

In addition to running all aspects of his start-up business, Eddie also took on the role as patriarch of his family. Eddie promised Ben before he died that he would look after his sons Chad, Jason, and Brandon.

Eddie became a fixture at Chad’s sons sporting events and birthday parties much like a grandfather would do - exactly like what Ben would have done. Eddie would often be found on the sidelines of Davidson Day School football games where his nephew Chad coached and Will, Nash, and Hayes each played… all wearing the number 7.

So, Eddie and six of his nephews make up seven Grier family members. The number seven is a special number to the family most recently and notably worn by nephew Will Grier as a quarterback for the Florida Gators (and worn a VERY long time ago by Chad for the East Carolina Pirates).

How this narrative ties into the Grier Interiors business, is in how our business operates with the same teamwork and respect of a family. The bond between the "G7" core, can be seen bleeding through in the relationships between friends, coworkers, and customers all the same.

Eddie has always run his business as a family business with employees who are viewed as an extension of our family. We are very proud to be Grier Interiors and to represent many generations of our family who were born, raised, and live here in the Charlotte area. We may be Grier Interiors, but if you refer to us as G7, we won’t mind at all!
